Techniques

Most embroidery mistakes can be fixed without starting over. For a few wrong stitches, unthread the needle and pick them out from the back with a seam ripper or the tip of a needle. For puckers, re-hoop and ease the fabric flat. For uneven satin stitch or a wobbly outline, remove that section and restitch it with shorter, more even stitches. The key is to stop as soon as you notice a problem and fix it before you stitch over it.
Hold the work at arm's length, which is how most people will see it. If the mistake disappears from there, it may be fine to leave it, especially on a pictorial piece where organic shapes forgive a lot. A botanical design such as the Botanical Embroidery Kit is forgiving this way: a slightly fuller leaf usually reads as natural. Abstract designs are less forgiving. On a kit like the Abstract Shapes Embroidery Kit, a straight edge that wanders or a block of fill denser than its neighbor stands out, so it is often worth fixing.
Compare the restitched area with the stitching beside it at arm's length. It should match in density, direction, and sheen. Then run a fingertip over it to feel for lumps from new stitches stacked on top of old ones. If the fabric still shows holes from removed stitches, scratch the weave closed again and give it a gentle press from the back. A fix that blends in from a normal viewing distance is a fix that worked.

A pattern is a map: a key, a list of stitches, and a placement. If any of those three is still to be confirmed, do not guess a colorway from the product
LibrarySS004 exists so the first rows are practice, not a ruined pictorial. Use it that way if you are new.
